35 cm ceramic plate handcrafted and decorated by a young and talented artist from Kermanshah using the Persian technique of "minakari" or enamelling, in which green, white and yellow tones predominate in an intricate calligraphic design in Arabic, the liturgical language of Islam, among colourful floral motifs in relief. The text in the central medallion alludes to the "Basmala", the famous ritual formula with which the chapters of the Koran (Suras) begin and surely the most used phrase in ornamental Arabic calligraphy.

The outer border of the plate refers to the verse of the evil eye against the Prophet Muhammad (verses 51 and 52 of Sura 68 called "The Pen"), which is often recited as a way of protecting oneself from this ancient belief. It says the following: "And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes when they hear the message, and they say: Indeed, he is mad. But it (the sacred book) is nothing but a reminder for the worlds."
