24.5 cm hand-painted ceramic plate with an original calligraphic "nastaliq" design in white and gold letters on a dark blue background with floral decoration in turquoise and red. The Persian text is a poem by Rumi that coincides with Gazal No. 2,227 of his work The Divan of Shams and reads as follows: "The prayer of the lovers has been answered. O Speaker, repeat the prayer again!" Shams-i Tabrizi was a Persian Sufi dervish whom she met in Konya (present-day Türkiye) and who would become her spiritual teacher.

This work was written after his disappearance and is dedicated to him; in it he laments his loss and showers him with praise in a profound and unique philosophical style typical of Rumi and which consists of more than 40,000 verses and 3,000 ghazals, a form of poetic expression that shows the pain of separation at the same time as the beauty of the love that causes it.

This style of calligraphy is used especially in poetic literature or with a decorative aspect in advertisements, titles and works of art written or painted by hand. Mir Ali Tabrizi, originally from Tabriz, was the creator of this beautiful form of artistic expression in the 14th century.
