42 x 16 cm handmade oval ceramic serving dish, decorated with an elegant and original "Nastaliq Persian calligraphy" design in gold that stands out against a deep dark blue background and two charming gold-plated birds on one side.

This style of calligraphy is used especially in poetic literature or with a decorative aspect in advertisements, titles and works of art written or painted by hand. Mir Ali Tabrizi, originally from Tabriz, was the creator of this beautiful form of artistic expression in the 14th century.

The Farsi text reads: “O lover, stop thinking; become a butterfly, become a butterfly.. If you go to lovers, become a lover, become a lover..!”
