The Farsi text reads: “Oh love, all excuses are yours! I am silent, this song is yours..” (It means that everything that happens in her life is because of love and that all the events that occur in her life are beyond her control.)

This style of calligraphy is used especially in poetic literature or with a decorative aspect in advertisements, titles and works of art written or painted by hand. Mir Ali Tabrizi, originally from Tabriz, was the creator of this beautiful form of artistic expression in the 14th century.
