Wooden mirror decorated with enameled Persian miniature floral design, gilt illumination (tazhib) and marquetry (khatam kari)

Rectangular wooden mirror measuring 28 x 23 cm, hand-crafted and painted, elegantly combining several traditional arts in a single piece.

The corners of the frame feature miniature painting with beautiful gold designs created using the delicate technique of illumination or "tazhib" and the sides feature bright and colourful traditional enamelled drawings with relief floral designs.

The edges are decorated with the laborious technique of "khatam kari" (marquetry), which gives a special shine and an exquisite finish to the whole.
