Rectangular wooden painting measuring 29 x 14 cm, handmade, combining various traditional arts in a unique piece.
The central scene features a refined design of “gol o morgh” (flowers and birds) on a dark background made in copper using the intricate art of “ghalamzani”, by which the surface of metals is engraved and carved creating works of extraordinary beauty. In this famous design the protagonists resemble two lovers in the midst of a romantic argument in which the bird is in love and the flower is its lover; such romantic arguments have been mentioned very often in Persian literature.
The frame is decorated with the laborious technique of "khatam kari" (marquetry), which gives a special shine and an exquisite finish to the whole.
